Executive Committee or Management Team

Role of the Committee

The Group Executive Committee is responsible for providing operational support for the Section Leaders.

Members, who are volunteers and Trustees of the Scout Group, (Charity number 300464), include parents, leaders and supporters. The main functions of the Team include:

  • Raising of funds and the administration of the Group’s finances
  • Assisting with the recruitment of leaders and other adult support
  • Decision making on policies & expenditure
  • Maintenance of the Group’s property and equipment;

Workflows manage the stages your articles must go through until they are published.

The component to manage workflows is not enabled by default.

To see the workflow that we have provided with the sample data, you first need to enable this functionality.

  1. Access the administration area
  2. From 'Content' > 'Articles' > 'Options' > 'Integration' tab set 'Enable workflow' to 'Yes'
  3. Save changes

Now when you access 'Content' again you will see the section 'Workflows'.

When you edit an article you will also see the new transitions for articles related to workflows.
