Church Riverside Scout Group Welcomes you.

Firstly a very warm welcome to the Group's website!

Church-RIverside is a scout group based on Hockliffe Road, aiming at the 6 - 14 age range we have three sections within the scout group Beaver scouts 6 - 8, Cub scouts 8 - 10 and Scouts 10 - 14.

Our activities are based around a system of challenge and activity badges which can be achieved by our members.

We hope that you find everything you need on the site, however, if you are unsure on anything please get in touch.

Church Riverside has an active Beaver Colony, Cub Pack and Scout Troop.

Our dedicated team of leaders runs an active and varied programme tailored to each age range.

The Beaver Colony, for those ages 6 to 8 years, take part in many fun activities including crafts, games, sleepovers, badge work and competitions against other colonies such as Beaver Olympics.

The Cub Pack, for those aged 8 to 10 ½ , goes camping, hiking, plays wide games and has a more extensive selection of badges to work towards.

The Scout Troop, for those aged 10 to 14, while developing those skills learnt in Cubs, has more adventurous activities on the programme including pioneering, climbing and orienteering. This short snapshot cannot list all the activities our members get to try as it really is something different every week.

We meet at the Scout Hut, Hockliffe Road. We are lucky enough to own our own hall with kitchen facilities, car parking and a small field/camping area. As well as being used by Guides and Brownies, and for Ti kwan do, these facilities are also available to hire for Birthday Parties ect.

We currently expanding and making improvements to our new site, so please come back soon, to see how we've implemented these changes!
